From the very beginning, Renny showed that he has pony intelligence and a sociable nature. He was always catching us by surprise with his smarts. He once shared a pasture with a steep hill which had no fence along the top line. No horse had attempted the grade before. But one morning, Renny just suddenly appeared around the corner of the barn, joining the morning stall cleaners with a bright happy look. They put him back outside and before long, they figured that he had taught himself how to scale the climb and join his human friends. Needless to say, a Renny mountain fence was built. In each of his many foal, weanling and yearling adventures, Renny has shown a calm spirit, bombproof nature, and an ability to think on his feet about the problems that pop up in life!
