Blue Easy Renegade "Renny" was born May 3, 2008 by Blue Who out of Docs Unspeckled Rock. Blue Who is a cross-welsh pony owned by Sugarbrook Farm and Docs Unspeckled Rock is a triple-registered mare with the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), Foundation Horse Registry, and is a First Premium North American Sport Pony (NASPR). Renny was registered as a weanling and has original papers for NASPR.
Renny's sport pony heritage runs generations deep. He is by Blue Who by Blue Rain by Cymraeg Rain Beau by Farnley Lustre. Often noted as the "sire of the century," Farnley Lustre is Renny's paternal great-great grandsire on top and bottom. Between 2004-2010, Blue Rain was the USEF Champion #1 leading hunter pony sire six times! This year, 2010, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has Renny's sire, and paternal grandsire and great-grandsire listed in the Top 51 of leading hunter pony sires. Their rankings are Blue Who (#44), Blue Rain (#1) and Cymraeg Rain Beau (#51). Over the past years, his paternal sires are routinely in the top 10 in USEF hunter and jumper pony sire rankings.
He is currently 29 months old and has a number of good qualities. He has his father's good nature, kind spirit, and flowing movements. He has his mother's athleticism and agility from her cutting and reining background. Currently, Renny long-lines, longes, trots-in-hand, jumps cavaletti, and quietly wears his saddle and bridle. He has a sensible work ethic and a loving fun nature.
